Mirwaiz condoles demise of Abdul Rashid Fafoo | KNO

Visits residence of deceased, offers Fatiha prayers in his favour

Awami Action Committee patron and APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed his condolence on the demise of Abdul Rashid Fafoo, the uncle of AAC youth president Mushtaq Sofi, who passed away this morning. Mirwaiz visited the residence of the deceased at Wazapora, Maharaj Gunj in downtown and offered Fatiha prayers in his favour. 

A condolence meeting was also held at the AAC headquarters, where members of the organization expressed solidarity with Mushtaq Ahmed Sofi and prayers for the deceased soul.

Meanwhile, the APHC chairman also expressed his condolence to the family members of Mohan Chander Bazaz who passed away in United States yesterday. Bazaz was the eldest son of Pandit Prem Nath Bazaz and the brother of JK Democratic Forum president Pandit Bhusan Bazaz. Mirwaiz expressed his solidarity and sympathy with the Bazaz family at this hour of grief.
